Since the 1970’s I have been compelled to locate underground or neglected spaces. In “Found Spaces and Other Places” I sought out spaces not utilized before for art exhibition.  Challenging the environments of my selected spaces, I sometime utilize discarded materials and interact with the architecture. Some are wall drawings and others include a variety of forms. Use of space ranges from “Coal Bin Special Project, PS1” and "Bass Basement", New York City, to the Contemporary Art Center and “Drawin” for Figment on Governor’s Island, New York.

Closing the gap between studio and exhibition space became the impetus to an evolutionary process introducing a wide range of Media in my work.
